Sign up sheet for Lenten soup and sandwiches is in the Guild Hall. Supper at 6:00 pm followed by Holy Communion and Bible Study. All are welcome! Come for all or part of the evening. Please decide TODAY if you will hold a Wednesday gathering this week. Rev. Winnie is out of town but you are welcome to gather for the meal, Evening Prayer and a video on the Bible study. The topic is covered in Chapter 2 of the Bible Study text. Thanks, Rev. W!
Liturgy and Music committee meets Thursday, March 18 at 1:00.
Vestry meets March 28 after church.
Holy Week and Easter Schedule:
Maundy Thursday (Apr. 1) - 6:00 pm Agape supper followed by Holy Communion with optional foot washing.
Good Friday (Apr. 2) – Community service at 12 noon at St. Martin’s. (Way of the Cross walk begins at the Methodist church at 10:45).
Evening service at 6:00 pm. No Holy Communion at either service.
Holy Saturday – 8:00 pm Sunset Vigil of Light and Prayer followed by a reception in the guild hall. No Holy Communion at this service-Please note that this is a correction from the information in the Cloak.
Easter Eucharist – 10 am. Festive Baptism and Holy Communion followed by reception for the newly baptized, Walter Gaalswyk and his family.
DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME STARTS NEXT SUNDAY. Church time does not change but your clocks should!!
Rev. Winnie is out of the office this coming week. Note that this is a switch from her usual patern of being gone before the Sunday she is away. This change is temporary and due to the scheduling challenges of Feb and March. Her other pattern will resume in April.
